help to plot graph using jfree in net beans

In our project we are dumping the results(values) to a text file,here our main idea is to extract data from it and have to plot bar graph in the sense to show the comparision between the values obtained,we are unable to do it so please give the solution for thz....or please get the source code to extract it from text file using jfree in netbeans

Feed the values into Excel and get a graph made instantly.............

no it wont be good doing usin excel,i need to use java code here...please any one help me on this.....
