help reqd. :: 1st sem. (engg.) assignment on OSs

Well here are two questions on which I need some help.
<Q1>Explain and differentiate between the following types of OSs :-
.1) Time sharing
.2) Multi-programming
.3) Multi-tasking
.4) Multi processing
.5) Virtual storage

<Q2>The current version of Windows NT supports how many of the following at a time?
.1) Processors
.2) Hard Drives (I think it's answer is 4 IDE ones if there is no cd-drive and rest can be USB hard drives).

Note:- .1) Half answers are also welcome.
.2) You can definitely ask for more explanation if required.

yaar it also contains link for Windows NT and other stuff, just go thru the whole stuff, i m sure i read Windows NT somewhere and ur Time Sharing, Multi Tasking, etc etc.

If u still want me to explain all that here, i can do it, i read all his in class X

Well actually the meaning of "windows NT" in the second question implies to the windows NT family which include windows XP , windows server 2003 etc.

Plz can u atleast give the answer to Q2 here.

AFAIK, windows xp has a hard disk size limitation of 127GB
so if you have a larger drive .. it will detect it as only 127GB
but this problem was taken care of in SP2 .. so winxp+sp2 supports 160/200GB harddisks
dont know wht's the SP2 limitation
