Help regarding language problem on a forum

Hi friends , i created a forum on x10hosting.com,its working fine but i have a problem in punjabi language.I want to use this forum in english and punjabi both.but when i write punjabi it shows this in ??????????????? form.On the otherhand i can able to write and see in punjabi on different forums like on thinkdigit.com too,What i need to fix ,to overcome this problem.please suggest here.and yes i m using SMF forum.

Probably, the meta tags are not telling the browser to use an appropriate encoding.

oh sorry, forgot to include the solution.
In the settings section, there must be a settings that allows you to choose the encoding set. Check if that works.

in which type settings,do you talking about utf -8 etc or such type settings i have already do to convert utf-8 etc. but all useless.
please give some more details here.thanks

When you sign up on x10, you need to confirm that the content of your site will only be in english or 2 other languages(french and something else) or if its in another language, a complete english translation will be provided.

Ask in x10 forums if its okay. Else, your site will be terminated.

thanks and i will conform it but i think there is not such type problem its the problem in somewhere in settings only.
