help pizz dvd not detected by win xp sp2

i gave my dvd for repair 2 weeks back.
in the meantime i installed win xp sp2, now when i have got my dvd back, it is not being detected by it.
it is shown in bois, and i have also booted from it in the dos mode, means its connected allright, but windows does not detect it, what shall i do for this.
pizz help me if u can.

Dude just DIGIT ... dig it

yeah run add hardware wizard and see if ur drive is lested there or not

if windows is unable to detect thedrive then.....
...reinstll windows
