[HELP] New MacBook Air 2018 Vs MacBook Pro 2017 (Non-Touchbar)

I guess non-touch bar models are not updated because they are going to launch macbook air in same price range, when they launched non touch bar models in 2016, they simply said it's macbook air replacement and now air replaced that back.

IMO MacBook Air replaced the 12inch MacBook. If they had updated the non-touch bar MacBook Pro, it would have led to the drop in sales of the Touch Bar model which means less profit for Macbook. Many owners realized the Touch bar is a gimmick and isn't that useful. They are forced to buy because of the newer processors. Anyway we are deviating from your initial question. Have you decided which model you are buying ? Also if possible buy the Apple Care Protection plan for extended warranty. Not sure if international coverage applies for Apple care. Do check that.
