help needed for AMD PC config , 25-30K

Friends,

I want your help in determining the best AMD config for 25K-30k. Priority multimedia,graphic design, no gaming. Currently my choices are:

1)Processor->AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ ->Rs5000 (I know this price is high, but here in guwahati,dealers are quoting this)

2)Mobo -> Asus M2A-VM ->Rs4500 (What is HDMI ? Is the extra price worth ?) ( Or should I take MSI K9N Ultra ?)

3)RAM-> Kingston DDR2 1GB 667MHz ->Rs1750

4)HDD-> Seagate Sata2 160GB Rs2400

5)Cabinet -> ? (Zebronic/VIP) Rs1700

6)Optical Drive - > Asus DRW-1608P3S 16X DVD writer Rs2250

7)Keyboard ->Logitech spill resistance Rs300

8) Mouse -> Samsung optical Rs300

9)Speaker -> Altec Lansing ATP3 Rs2500

10)Monitor ->Viewsonic VA1703WB LCD Rs8600 or Samsung 17" CRT 793S Rs6000

11)UPS -> ? (Do we need UPS ? What if comp is run on inverter ?)

Please help me clarify the doubts.

if graphic design is priority then go for 2x1 gb ram..

dont go for hdmi..it helps u to connect to high end HD lcd tv's
& ups is needed if ur area has voltage fluctuations...u should geta ups..& go with lcd monitor..it will take less power ,u'll have longer ups backup & u will make ur money in a few months by the power u save
