Get atleast a 17" Monitor as U will find the 15" too short for auto cad, & with that, get a FX5200, that will be slow in CAD, but go for it atleast if U an't streach you budget

for motherboard go for Asus K8V, & better get a CD-Writter

U will need to increse your budget a bit

there are matrox cards for CAD, they are made in hardware for CAD tasks, & are best suited, even their G550 with 32 MB RAM, will be enough

also, U can go for Quadro NVS from NVIDIA

I'm not sure of the price of any cards in your country but do consider the Maxtor parhelia series of cards or even the mighty Nvidia Quadro FX for your graphics needs. They must not cost much there. As for the PC it seems to be coming up nicely.

Forget Quadro FX, they are useless & over kill for 2D work, for CAD & Video editing, Matrox Parhelia P750 or Quadro NVS are the best suited, Matrox is at top when it comes to CAD

with FX5200 U will get a lot of allised lines, although it will do the job, but will be slow, as it is a gaming card not a pro one

For NVIDIA Quadro NVS series

The Geforce Fx 5200 from MSI costs Rs 4500( Check out digit's January issue)

As for the motherboard get MSI Neo platinum(Rs 8000)
or the Asus K8N - E Deluxe( don't know it's price).
