hy guys m gonna upgrade to a new gpu soon.budget is nt a prob...ive settled down for Xfx 9800gt 512mb ddr3..& 9800gt superclocked by EVGA..m gonna buy dis frm U.S..so dese cards r available for around 100-125$..the thing is i askd d experts at ma workplace dey say for a superclockd gfx u need a gaming board or so..is this true?? my current pc config DUAL CORE 3GHZ , 2GB DDR2 533MHZ , INTEL 945 MOBO , XFX 7300GT 512MB DDR2 , VIP 400W SMPS..
n also dey said for a card like 9800gt u require power of more than 450w(smps) if u want max out d game settings..dey said it wil work on 400w of supply bt mite put load on d smps n mite kill it someday..is this true?? Palit & xfx & Evga claim minimum of 400w for 9800gt to run & 450w supply if in SLI mode(www.tigerdirect.com) plz help..thnx
