help me buy a gfx card and ram

Hi guyz
I m Pro at Softwares but hardware is not for me
so plzzz help me

i m using hp pavillion m7360in desktop pc
it has geforce 6200se pci express gfx card and 1gb ddr2 ram

i would like to update both of them
ram to 4 gb
and gfx card to 512-1024 mb
budget is 4000 rs for each

My problems is i dont understand clock rating and other technical terms and therefore i dont want to go in loss
so kindly c my pc at hp.com/in and suggest me something gr88

I m not interested in second hand

Ok!

It seems that you have 8000 rs total budget !
You didnt inform us about your RAMs current frequency


Therefore I would recommend to get new 2 x 2GB matched RAM kit (Sell the old ram module / trade it / )to avoid any mismatch
Go for brands like Transcend / Kingston . 2 X 2GB DDR2 800 Modules should be around 3.6k
And make sure that you use a 64BIT OS to take advantage of that extra RAM

That leaves us with with 4.5k for graphics card
At this price you can at least get Geforce 8600GT card. Dont even bother buying 8500GT cards...they are not good enough for anything other than movie viewing. If you can inncrease the budget a bit then you can get A 9500GT card at around 5K which is even better

Remember whatever card you buy (8600/9500) choose the ddr3 version.It performs better thean the DDR2 version
