help about security couses

i had listen about various security courses and certifications out there , but lack a proper way and understanding on them .
for example should i go for CISCO CCNA or MCSE .
and what are the real procedures and benifits of them as i m an engineering student .
i had tried pillers and posts to enquire about them , also tried cisco's website , but only get confusion as there were 4 certifications shown to completely master the security issues.
so tell me the whole concept , what to do , and what are the roles of pvt. institutes in them and what experiances etc. are really needed.

See private institutes or colleges most of em(not all) don't get involved in these type of courses. You have to go to a NIIT or CISCO Certified Education Partner to know completely about hte courses,their structure,uses and course fees and exam fees. I suggest you go to NIIT or any other edu. partner to know completely about hte courses.
