Happy with my New Rig but not with my TFT screen

Very happy with the new PC.. The PC is great (performance wise) but not too happy with the TFT monitor..

Please help me set it right

The text is distorted.. The color reproduction is not as good as my old CRT monitor (samsung 793MB) I am working on both my PCs currently on one table light brown on CRT appears as dark brown.. This is very bad for me coz i am a graphic designer..

Not at all happy with the monitor.. I hope it is some setting problem.. I hope atleast the text problem is sorted out coz its really tough for me.. Hope someone can help

the contrast on TFT's cannot be as good as tht on crt's
(i dont use TFT's, based on bookish knowledge)

Pls mention the brand and model of the TFT,man

crt and tft are never compareable
contrast ration in 17" crt and tft has huge diff
and then u may have not setupped it properly
