OSS Enthusiast!
I want to buy a cell upto 15k. I am stuck between Nokia 6600 and 3230. 3230 is slightly overpriced than 6600, but I would like to know if there are some features more than 6600 that adds to its cost. Is it worth its cost? How about buying sony ericsson or anything else? HELLPPPP. :?:

hey,
U ve got 6630 which is priced at 14k. Cheaper n better than 3230. Thou 3230 has got more features than 6600(like 1.3mg cam,FM,etc) it has software issues and the sound output is mono. But 6630 has stereo o/p but does not hav FM. So think abt it buddy. :!:

can the experience mobile techies suggest me a phone which satisfies all the conditions below

1>Nokia colour phone
2>Mp3 player
3>good sound reception
4>Fm player( not must but would be handy)
5>less than Rs 5000(max 5500)

Last point is that i wish to take TATA INDICOM prepaid connection.
Say suppose i take TATA INDICOM connection and then i wish to change other operater say AIRTEL then would it be possible or will i be stuck with TATA just like i am now with RELIANCE DAPO offer.
PLz suggest and thankz in advance.

@medigit.....if theres a phone under 5k satisfying those conditions then whole of india would be using it!!!!
under 5k all u can get is colour phone with fm player.

if u take tata prepaid connection u will be stuck with it. cos its a cdma connection, no sim. u wont be able to change ur operator. and i think there will be lot of fuss too in it. all u can do with the phone is return it to tata, and then there will all these things about charges and all.

i say buy GSM prepaid connection.

ok not possible in rs 5000 so,
nokia phone+
mp3 player=???(the most affordable phone)

and i was talking about changing from TATA CDMA phones because the same model of NOKIA i saw was for TATA and RELIANCE .So, there must be someway in CDMA phones to change the entire setting.

hey...when u want a mp3 player...explicitly, u have to go for a phone with symbian OS. Or u can go for nokia 3300. But am not sure how much will it cost and i have no idea whether its a failure model or not. So jus thought of giving u an idea..I prefer the first idea(symbian). And its better u go for GSM, so that u can change ur service provider whenever u want.

Wire muncher!
3300 has been discontinued. if u want it get either a second hand or hunt for an old piece. 6630 is good! tho no fm and average camera. 3230 audio output is mono and aint that great.

ONe simple option is to select SE K300i(around 6.5K) with stereo mp3 player and get add on FMstereo headset(may be 1K)
One more choice is SE K700i with excellant stereo mp3,FM,Cam,bluetooth,IR,voice dial/memo for around 9.5K
