That is an ISA slot. It's even older than PCI slots. You won't find any hardware for it.

Hmmm..Then he cannot upgrade his graphics..coz there are no good PCI gfx available...the only option is to get a nu mobo...

No you cannot upgrade to a new graphics card from the ISA card slot. You may find a GeForce 2 Based PCI card after days of hard work.Even that card wouldn't be sufficient to play today's games.ISA cards,in the old days consumed a lot of resources and so when PCI cards entered the market, everyone jumped onto them.

I advise a complete overhaul of your system with a Athlon 3200+ processor,1GB or 512 MB DDR 400 RAM and a good motherboard with onboard graphics(like the ASUS A8N VM.This MOBO should not cost you more than 4k)

Just wanted to say that it isn't a ISA slot but a CNR (Communication and Network Riser) slot. For more details on it see this: *www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/46

ISA slots were almost double the length of PCI slots.

I had a Yamaha (amplified) sound card based on ISA slot.

These CNR slots are used to install cheap soft-modems and soft-network cards .... but i have never seen such a card. :)

It defenitly isnt a AGP slot. Not sure if it is a CNR slot..... I think it is time for you to buy a new MOBO.

The CNR slot is located on the side of the motherboard, near the last PCI slot unlike AGP slot which is away from the side.see pic.so that is definitely CNR.

ur MS-6526 is MSI ? then it has only
• One CNR (Communication Network Riser) slot and
• Three 32-bit Master PCI Bus slots

Its AGP is Multiplexed AGP .u cant find a AGP slot in there.

if your pc is that old then even if you could get a 1900XTX Crossfire for it, still things would run crap, so there is no point.

Do you have a 1.5ghz or lower cpu?

If you want to play todays games even at low or med settings even with a more power ful graphic card atleast get 2.4GHZ preferably C class.
