I want to buy a Graphics Card and Cables / Connectors which will allow me to
* run my normal Desktop on my CRT Monitor (17 inch Samsung)
* send video from media player program or web browser program to my CRT TV
I did some searching on these forums and found that TV resolution is low - 640x480.
(Btw, I use Ubuntu linux as the main OS. I think there is some software to handle the simultaneous two displays, I need the correct hardware)
Even if it needs me to purchase some other cables/components etc, within a decent cost limit, I'm fine with that. I just dont want to end up buying a new PC to replace my TV
