We all are benifiting from the ever dicresing prices of laptops & LCD Monitors, Acer was the first to introduce a sub 50K laptop in India, where buying a laptop is a luxery, they were the first to provide no MS OS to cut costs in the laptops & also some other customised tweaks for Indian enviroment
Now they have released a Sub-30k Laptop, a price range where we usually get Higher mid range desktop PCs,

It is based on AMD Sempron 2800+, which is a 32-Bit CPU alongwoth 256 MB RAM, 7 onboard video, compleate work holic, no gaming, just official work with good battry power, value for money but not as good as Pentium M based
