Good choice for a smartphone around 10K?

Æsoteric Positron

I AM GROOT (and so are you)
1. Budget? 10K but willing to extend upto 15
2. Display type and size? Not any specific expectations, but AMOLED would be nice ig
3. Dual sim? Don't require one, but if a slot is available then I have no qualms
4. Preferred choice of brand? None
5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)?
6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS,Stock Android etc). Stock Android is preferable
7. Preferred connectivity options (Dual 4G,802.11AC/5Ghz(not 5g mobile network) wifi). wifi is a requirement, and so is at least 4g
8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)? Casual use, mostly texting, calling, quick google searches, and content consumption once in a blue moon
9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration? g10 power and G40 Fusion(though this one's just within my budget)
10. Any other info that you want to share Having stock android experience (alongwith future promised updates (Android one programme was so cool!)) is kinda important to me, as my experience with chinese bloatwhere(redmi3 and realme 1) ain't pleasant

Moto G40 fusion.

Not recommending G31 because of slow G85 SoC. For 5G, you can consider G51.

Oh, cool. What about samsung F22? SAMSUNG Galaxy F22 Online at Best Prices
and Samsung M12 *www.amazon.in/Samsung-Galaxy-M12-Storage-Processor/dp/B08XGDN3TZ ? Asking because I asked a moto owner and he was pretty frustrated about the software that provided a sub-par support (And F22 also has a SAMOLED display)

Avoid both IMO. If not Moto, get Realme or Redmi phones.

Any specific reason why? The only down side I see is the custom ROM support is aweful. If realme/redmi what would you recommend?
Display is 720p, enough of a con to ignore. Other specs are not good enough as well. For 11k, Poco M3 is a great choice IMO, ticks all basics.

Else at 14k, stick to Moto G40 fusion. For an AMOLED panel, get Redmi Note 10S, inferior SoC though.

I would have selected it, but its not available anywhere :tired:

Well, I should have absolutely gone with it, if not for no promise for future android updates, which wouldn't have been that big of a issue... but no custom ROMs are being developed for that either. Also the LCD screen looks aweful when you have used a AMOLED screen in the past (Xiomi A3). Yet, it seems to be the best bet right now.

Welp, that's unfortunate. Its also 500rs pricier. It does have faster charging, but lower capacity battery. Would have really preferred redmi note 10 if it was available(since the price to performance ratio would be at least better), but nope. Also, it does come with MIUI OOTB, but it does have better custom ROM support, so even official Lineage OS is available for this device(a huge plus in my eyes).

Thanks, by the looks of it Moto seems to be the best option for me (though, its design is ugly). Just another question, is Redmi lite *www.mi.com/in/redmi-note-10-lite/ a good option? Does have Linage OS support, so I might flash it later, but there would be compromises as compared to Moto, right?
if you don't want any AD nuisance, get Moto g31 / 51 / g40 fusion.
Yup, that's the idea. Moto does have really good OOTB experience.

almost all Moto range at present is said to get 1 Android Update and 2 years of security update. i think its the same for redmi / poco / realme as well.
