1. Budget?
20k+5k not more than that
2. Display type and size?
At least full hd around 5 inches

3. Dual sim?
not compulsory
4. Preferred choice of brand?
motorola, sony anything xcept samsung
5. What camera option you want (flash, front facing camera)?
at least 8mp rear camera
6. Preferred operating system? (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, etc).
Android!!
7. Preferred connectivity options (3G, 4G ready).
i dont think there is a phone without 3g in this budget so.. obvio but yeah something future proof would be appreciated
8. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, internet, gaming etc)?
multimedia,calling and mid-level gaming
9. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
i thought moto x 2nd gen would've been priced under 30k so i had my tongue out...but now it doesn't seem that way. I know one plus one and mi4 are on their way but i think i'll prefer something which is more robust
10. Any other info that you want to share
Should i wait for Android L devices ? But its really hard to resist since i can save the money only till this year....
and yes I need something future proof if possible i mean the phone should've been launched at most 3 months ago.
online availability is preferable.

exactly i was leaning towards moto g 2014 too...but it lacks nfc and moto x has a dual core proc.

It will only sound better not else. My suggestion would be go for Nexus 5 which is selling for an offer price today. Why Nexus 5 confirmed Android L and few more updates on day one, Excellent custom ROM support!

Get Moto X even though it is dual core they are krait core which offers much better performance than Snapdragon 400 found in moto G.Moto X is a great phone get it as soon as possible before stock runs out.

Even moto X is getting Android L update.

one plus one has only one issue- after sales, you have to ship it overseas for that at the moment :(
otherwise a great phone
Moto X 2013 is op's best overall bet

kkn13 they are thinking about opening service centers in India with launch.

if thats true, then its great!! One plus one is a phone made collectively by Oppo and cyanogenmod which have proven its quality worldwide!!itll rock the whole market in India!!
