Gaming Rig Suggestions

hello folks.i want to build a new CPU.I want to play games like Fifa12(13),COD,NFS RUN and upcoming sequels too on 19inch Monitor (1440*900) ..
My budget is 20-25K.
Please suggest a good graphic card that can offer me good gaming details.

I Prefer AMD and ATI
Donot Include Monitor and Speakers

Ans:If my system can take the load then NO.does overclocking reduce lifespan?

Ans: 1TB

Ans: NO.I have a 19inch with 1440x900

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: speakers,monitor,Keyboard,Mouse

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:in 3 months time

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: built one before

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

I already have a 320Gb HDD.
Problem is with processor & Mobo ? How abt the phenom from AmD ??

If you have a 320gb hdd already , then use it and invest the money in some good processor. Get an core i3 2100 @ 6k or spend 4k more and get core i5 2320 @ 10k.

You meant core i5-2320 buddy?

BTW you can get a core-i3/better case+PSU/GTX 560 with the extra buck. I suggest that you go for a better GPU. A decet AMD configuration is difficult in your budget.

My internet plan allows me unlimited download so i normally D/L about 100GB/month..
I'm confused on which Processor to buy AMD or INTEL ? Price matters,also wouldn't want to spend again for another 2-3 years but still be able to play FIFA,COD,NFS and other FPS GAMES

If possible , get the AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE @Rs.6000(appx)
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P (rev. 3.1) @Rs.2700~

The availability of the processor might be a issue now. But if you manage to find one, it will be great bang for buck

Can i OVerclock ? Will it reduce its lifespan ?

^^ The revision 3.1 has 4+1 phase design, so mild overclocking is possible, but not recommended on this board.

Also, as long as the temperature and voltages are kept below the maximum safe rating, chances are you'll upgrade your computer long before the CPU dies.

No. It will not, not unless you push it over it's limits by increasing the voltage too high that surpasses the maximum safe limit, such that your CPU starts degrading. (Even if it's running very well under good temperatures)

AMD 955 BE can be overclocked easily with multiplier why he should take risk by upping voltage upping voltage is required when you aggressively overclock processor.
