Hello Guys....I'm back and its has been long time since I was on this site asking questions about my new rig but just didn't get the time and the needed money to buy the rig but this time I suppose I am ready to go for it again although with a gr8 budget this time around...Thank you all
B]1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')[/B]
Ans:
1.Gaming with at least 30 fps with medium settings...!!
2.Movies
3.Computer programming

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:
50-55k(Can be extended to 60k).
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:
No.
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:
Win7 or Win 8.1 not sure but it would be a 64-bit one.
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:
1Tb
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:
Yes.
21/22 inch would suffice
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
Mouse and a Keyboard
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:
Not sure
But will be in this month or next for sure.
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:
My brother can also assemble computers.
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:
I'm living in Chandigarh so maybe you all can tell me from where I would get things on discount locally here.
Yes I will look online for the products unavailable locally.
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have asked this question earlier also but then the budget was somewhere near 40 k and the money was a issue but not now...!!
I have been dying to play games from 2008 so there's that
I want my PC to be ready for next gen and be able to play games at low setting for the 2-3 yrs if possible...
Advance thank you to all for the co-operation...!!!

you can get 8GB RAM if you wish but don't compromise on CPU/GPU
Deepcool Tesseract is the cabinet that I mentioned in the rig.
AMD(CPU) config will be at the same cost and less powerful. but if you want, replace i5 with FX 8350 and mobo with Gigabyte 970A DS3P.

i5 4460, i5 4590, i5 4690 , i7 4790 are all new processors of the 4th gen but these require H97 or rev. 2.0 of B85,H87 mobos. Rev.1.0 of B85,H87 is not compatible with the newer 4th gen CPU's.So either H97 or Rev. 2.0 or a Bios update of Rev.1.0 Motherboard is required that's why everyone is gunning for i5 4570.Ok.

Games are not that cpu demanding. So hopefully it should last . The problem comes with the GPU usually. But R9 280X is a fine choice.

For cabinets,
You can check out these for budget below 3000
CM Force 500 [without psu]
Thermaltake H21 with side window panel

If you can spend around 3500
Corsair Carbide Spec 01

Maybe you will get it cheaper locally.

Yeah I5 4440 will be fine. You can go with Dual X variant.
R9 280X Dual X variant @ 20.3 k or 23k with 10% discount in FK. So check out locally if you can get it for less than 20k's
Not sure if you will see considerable performance difference between the dual x and vapor x. Vapor X will cost 24 - 27k
Toxic [3 fans] is best but I don't think its value for money cause it will cost you around 26 - 27k without giving any performance improvement.

My personal suggestion would be dual x cause its more value for money than the others.

While ordering make sure you are getting the right variant.

Yeah vapor X and Toxic both are technically better than Dual X they have slightly higher clock speed and a bit better cooling than Dual X. Apart from that nothing else.

I would go for the cheapest option if the price difference Dual x and vaporx/toxic is much.

Anyways if you are inclined to buy Vapor x then I would suggest to go with Toxic version if the difference between their prices is marginal.

Have you enquired about the prices of these? At what price are you getting?
