Right off the assembly line
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: All latest games like witcher 3,gta 5,metro : LL,HD movies(4k preferred)

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:40k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: win7/10 when it comes out

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB HDD/500GB HDD+120 gb SSD

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: No, Going to use 42" FHD LED

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Monitor

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: within this week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: No, Will do it myself

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Jaipur, online/locally whichever is cheaper

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: I have basically decided on an Intel config with i5 4440
I am confused between gtx 750 Ti and gtx 960, is the perfomance gain really worth it?
Also will including an SSD improve the responsiveness drastically or can it be skipped?

Where are you getting these awesome prices? i would be willing to come to delhi for them!
Also i think i can extend my budget to 45k if it means future-proofing
Also : is spending 5k+ on smps and cabinet really necessary or can i use zebronics cabinet which comes with smps for 1.5k

1. Yes.
2. Nope. Nope. Nope

Also, don't get Corsair VS series PSU. Get Antec VP550P or Seasonic S12II 520.

really? 3 Nopes? i thought i could save some money there

Also : I am unable to use the 7% coupon on Snapdeal while buying components as it says that the coupon code is not supposed to be entered manually and when i add an item to the cart its price is automatically increased and some random amount is then deducted to bring it to the original selling price! can u help?

^ You're going to buy a PC for gaming and that will require sufficient power to the components. You don't want them to be fried when the el-cheapo Zebronics PSU gets a voltage spike or because of the improper ventilation in the cabinet.

Nobody would recommend you to get them for a 40k config unless they make a lot of money from them or they are noobs.

I'm not sure about the 7% coupon..Better Check local shops for price(If u buy all components they might reduce prices)..Get quote and compare with online prices.Buy whichever have less prices..

Check these sites Amazon,Primeapgb,Flipkart and least Snapdeal...I hate snapdeal packaging and handelling..

Between for Dvd drive go for Asus, its 1k

Don't go for zebronics or iball or crappy local shits...Buy Good PC once and for all.You wont regret later.

Choose Nvidia/intel over Amd... Mine is AMD based system, when idle u can't even hear sound but when u run game it sounds like a Air cooler....And it draws more power too..

Save power to save Future :D

If u want a future proof PC then make it 50k margin..

1) There is a shop in Nehru Place, it makes it price public Price List (Click Me)

2) I don't recommend that.
Cabinets like those of zebronics don't have good cable management and USB 3.0.
If you are not interested in USB 3.0 cases, why mind getting a motherboard with front USB 3.0 support. You can getter cheaper motherboard with same performance except that it won't have front USB.
So you would not only save on cabinet, but montherboard as well.

As of Power Supply, never ever go with local brands. They are marketed wrongly, don't supply enough as promise and can be dangerous (I once got iBall suppy and it bursted).

Go only with branded supply's with 80+ efficiency.

These prices are not inclusive VAT. I visit this shop pretty often than any other shops in Nehru Palace , and I can say these are the cheapest there.
In that price-list doc , please add vat extra.

gammaboy , For PSU close your eyes and get Antec PSUs.
For the PC config - Get i5 4440 and GTX960. These would save you a lot of money and are very VFM. AFAIK , these are the most power efficient config at this budget able to deliver good performance.

These are good prices. I bought my stuff my Snapdeal with 7% off.
Though I bought Corsair Vengeance , MSI H87 PC mate and VS550 instead. CPU/GPU are same as yours.
[ I made two mistakes while buying since I didn't consult anyone prior to purchase. The PSU could have been better by going for Antec and the Mobo Doesn't supports SLI. It supports crossfire. :( . ]

I ordered on 25th morning. Have received the Mobo yesterday. Rest are still in transit.
Plus , I ordered Cooler Master K380 today morning.
I hope , they send the Cabinet , first. :p
