I mainly play FPS games like Apex Legends & Hyperscape.

I need gaming keyboard with following requirements :
1) Palm rest
2) Should be full size keyboard
3) Actuation Force should be as low as possible as I got small hands under 50cN
4) Linear switches
5) Multimedia hot-keys

Optional features :
1) Wireless would be better, even though I am fine with wired also
2) Backlit
3) Dust proof keys
4) Hot-swappable switches as I don't want to spends hours replacing switch/solder when it fails.

My choice will be this:
Amazon.in: Buy Corsair K68 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard-RED Backlit-Cherry MX Red - Black Online at Low Prices in India | Corsair Reviews & Ratings

Cherry MX Red + good brand (Corsair) + wrist rest + dedicated media keys are a good combination. Only con might be the red backlight, but I don't mind that. It is OOS now, but my friend bought it about a month back for 7k - amazon card 5% off. So wait for sometime maybe.

Some other good options:
ASUS TUF Gaming K3 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Red Linear Switches With RGB Backlight
Buy Cooler Master CK550 V2 RGB - Brown Switches | EliteHubs.com
HYPERX ALLOY ELITE MECHANICAL MX RED GAMING KEYBOARD | Clarion Computers

Wireless but lacks backlit keys:
LOGITECH G613 LIGHTSPEED WIRELESS MECHANICAL GAMING KEYBOARD | Clarion Computers

I want linear switch only. So my choices I think are between :
1) Corsair K68
2) Corsair K60 Pro
3) Asus TUF Gaming K3

All of them have red switches both corsair model cost same at around Rs.7650 and Asus K3 cost only Rs.5300.

Which one would you recommend? I don't mind paying Rs.2400 for corsair if they're providing more features or better quality then Asus.

I'm personally eyeing TUF K3 because of its cost. I don't have trust in cheap 3.5-4k Chinese KBs for long term reliability, will rather pay 1.5k premium for Asus name.

K68 is better than K3 because of Cherry switches & dedicated media keys IMO. K60 pro seems like a downgrade to K68 to me as it lacks media keys & wrist rest. You have to decide if those extra features are worth it to you.

Check reviews for the KBs you are eyeing & make a decision.

I can't find Cooler Master CK550 V2 with red switches anywhere, mostly brown & blue switch version are available.

Do you know anyone who sells it with red switches in India?

No. My personal preference is brown or red. Will avoid blue for sound. I have used a friend's G413 & its keys are similar to Cherry brown, I liked it.

You can ask sellers in this group for that KB or other options:
AkExtacY - Cheapest PC Parts Marketplace
There are a lot of small sellers here including owners of elitehubs, compify & sphinx.

There's a Rahim Ansari in that group selling Asus TUF K7 red/linear for 6.5k. Maybe worth looking into.

Is K7 lot better then all the other models we discussed here !! Should I get it? as he is giving top deal on it

Also is he a trusted seller ?

I have seen him frequently in that group, so not a new guy. You can ask others for seller reputation before buying.

I don't know much about K7. It has an optical switch of sorts, so check it out. For 7k, I still prefer K68 as me & my friend were looking for options when he was looking to buy & that has a Cherry switch.

I can't find this info. Do you know if I can replace optical switches on Asus TUF K7 with standard cherry MX or Kailh or Gateron switches if one of them fails.

I can solder other brand switches but not sure if size are same and will fit into the switch slot of K7.

No idea. I'm also a noob in the world of mech KBs, just had some idea as I was looking for KBs for myself & my friend. Me & my friend will likely never change switches, but who knows.

@SaiyanGoku Any idea?

I am also not sure about this but I read long back on reddit that people prefer mechanical switches because of freedom to change the switches whenever they want.

^so is it possivbble to change the switches from optical to mechanical? I think he didn't mention this in the video.

So better stick with non-optical ones if you want the potential to swap keys in future. Honestly, I might get pudding keycaps, but changing keys seem like a lot of work. But if after few years some switches start failing, maybe can think about buying a 10 switch pack.

Anyways, hope considering good membrane KBs last 3 years easily, I think mech ones will last longer as it's usually rated for 50 million keystrokes vs 5 million for membrane.
