1) What is your budget? (INR or USD)
60k INR but i am willing to extend it to 80k INR
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
OR
Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screent
3) Which country will you buying this notebook?
India (preferably Bangalore) but i dont mind ordering one from USA though i dont know if ill incurr extra taxes and customs.
4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Nothing in particular. i've not owned a laptop before. But i think Dell is pretty awesome.
5) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Gaming Gaming Gaming. I play World of Warcraft, also like playing new games like CoD MW3, Skyrim, BF3 etc
6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Mostly on my desk, but i also go for BYOCs. So will end up carrying it around. And i travel quite a bit on work.
7) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
MMOs like World of Warcraft, upcoming SWTOR etc. Also games like new CoD, skyrim, Fifa, NFS etc. All types of games, and looking at something which is future proof for a couple of years atleast.
8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Not to particular about this. I hardly anticipate playing without connecting to the charger.
9) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Anything goes. i usually purchase a lot of technology just based on reviews too.
10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), Mac OS, Linux, etc.

erm, not sure about this. on my desktop i play at 1024×768 , but i am not sure how it works out for laptop displays. but yes, at the higest possible resolution.
NOTE: i am looking for something that would run new games decently well even 2 years down the line. and current games + games coming in next 6-8 months at high configurations.
