I'm looking to buy a laptop in the next couple of weeks, which is actually more of a replacement for my desktop(E6600 CPU, 8600 GT GPU). Since I might be moving around a bit, I can't settle with a desktop(which I'd prefer any day). My budget is about Rs. 80k. After a little searching I have shortlisted two:
-Alienware M14x(Rs. 82k)
-ASUS G53JW(Rs. 85k)
I'm also open to other options.
I'm a pretty serious gamer and the main aim of this lap is to replace my 8600 system(which is now shot to hell). I know battery backup for gaming laptops isn't the best out there, but I'd like to see some good backup on idle. Ergonomics and build quality is also important. Since I'll probably be sitting on my lap a lot for both gaming and routine tasks, I'd like it to have a sturdy keyboard that is comfortable to use(like bevelled non-slip keys).
I'd also like to know the availability and service accessibility(warranty, service centres, etc.)
