1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: Gaming, net browsing pc, movies and youtube. FPS games mostly. Medium to high settings, 1080 resolution.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 10k more

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 11

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: NVME M.2 1 TB or 512 GB. (Have 240 gb SSD and 1 TB HDD)

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: 24 or 27" Monitor, for gaming. (No samsung, Benq)

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:
PSU - Seasonic SII 520
Cabinet - Corsair Spec 03

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: One week

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Buying locally. Not online.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans:
I prefer Intel based system with onboard graphics support CPU, preferably 12400 or 12500.
Motherboard preferrably Gigabyte (with WiFi, in my place service is good for Gigabyte). Are MSI boards good? People advised to stay away from Asus boards.
Is it wise to go for DDR5 for futureproof, 2k for Mobo and 5k for RAM is the difference on 16 Gb. Total 7k diff.
Suggest a CPU cooler within the budget.
GFX, rtx 3050 preferred. (Gigabyte preferred). Could suggest better ones if within budget. Is it wise to go for 3050 instead of 1660 super?
Can the above GFX be placed in my Cabinet.

Mobo priority list IMO goes like Asus = MSI > Gigabyte > AsRock > anything else which are to be avoided.

DDR5 is a waste of money for now, unless you have very high budget to include it. 100k is not very high for a high end PC, you can instead use money saved from using DDR4 instead of DDR5 to get more meaningful upgrades, like even higher capacity SSD.

2 fan GPUs should fit your case easily, but better buy a new one.

CPU - Intel i5 12400 - 17k (seems like it is 19k in many places now, but i5 12500 is 19.5k, so get that in that case)

Mobo - Gigabyte B660M DS3H WiFi - 12k (MSI B660M A Pro WiFi is better option at 15k if that Giga one is not under 13k)

RAM - 2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz C18 - 6.5k

GPU - Zotac/Gigabyte RTX 3060 - 30k (at these prices in many online stores)

M.2 SSD - WD SN570 500GB - 4.5k

HDD - Yours

PSU - Deepcool PM650D 80+ gold - 5k (better get new)

Cabinet - Deepcool Mattrexx 55 Mesh 4F - 5.2k (better get new, else get cooler for CPU because stock cooler won't suffice in a case with not so good airflow)

Monitor - LG 24GN650 24″ 1080p 144Hz IPS Freesync - 16k

Total - 96.2k

Check primeabgb, mdcomputers, theitdepot, vedant computers, onlyssd (online stores) for PC parts at a good price.

Stock cooler is ok for gaming, not for productivity:
Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 Pro - 2.5k

3060Ti is 40k these days, can be considered, is a more potent GPU suitable for 1440p.

Hi OP!
Check the prices on Elitehubs also since they have decent pricing and also host sales and had good prices recently on GPUs.
Also, grab this nvme drive now, WD SN770 at 4.8k

Edit: I have no personal experience with this store but this is quiet known retailer in recent times. You can ask about them on IndianGaming reddit or discord server if you are having doubts.

Could not find any shops with 30k for 3060, is it without GST? Sites showing 35-40k

About RAM, which brand, prefer rgb
Thermaltake's 8GB memory stick clocked at 3600Mhz at CL18 costs 2.8k. You could check that out.
If you do plan on upgrading your power supply, a 550w unit should be enough, lest you upgrade your GPU in the future (Consider XPG Pylon or Corsair CX550M, and the NZXT C650 for 650w). Try the Seasonic PSU for a while. I'd recommend upgrading though, if it's getting old.
Same thing with the case, I'd suggest the Ant Esports Ice 300 Mesh. Its pretty much a copy of the coolermaster td500 mesh, but at a much lower price.
As for the CPU, save some bucks and go with the F version of the i5 12400. You won't need the iGPU for gaming anyway. Your call though.
The gigabyte board suggested is decent, but the MSI B660 PRO A is much better. Get that instead.

GPU wise, the RX 6600 is a good option as well. But some popular fps games are on DX11, and Radeon GPUs still do not work well with them.

What is the advantage of this msi Mobo to giga. What is CL18, should get the same?

I was talking about incl. GST prices. Nowadays it is 32-33k in most online retailers, prices still fluctuate a bit sadly.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge OC
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Eagle OC 12GB GDDR6

Else get RX6600 for 29k:
Asus Dual Radeon RX 6600 8GB GDDR6

In simple terms MSI mobo is better quality one which can run even an i7 12700 without throttling the CPU whereas the Gigabyte one is not good enough to run i7 12700 at its max performance for longer durations (yes, this is something that can happen, not as easy as buying a compatible mobo & putting any CPU).

As you can, there's almost a 25% drop in performance between the MSI & Gigabyte mobos suggested. But the Gigabyte mobo is enough for i5 12400, I can personally vouch as I have that exact same mobo with i5 12400.

CL18 basically another measurement for Memory/RAM speed. It's good enough for gaming.
As for the motherboard, yes it can accommodate higher end CPUs due to it's superior power delivery system. Additionally, there have been claims that the Gigabyte motherboard does not deliver full performance with the i5 12400. Now i don't own this motherboard, so I can't really verify all of this. So yeah, both motherboards are good options.

CPU- x1 i5 12400 -17.2k (would still suggest the F variant, which is about 1.5k cheaper but lacks onboard graphics)

CPU Cooler- x1 Deepcool AK400- 2K

GPU- RTX 3060- 32k

Motherboard- Gigabyte B660 DS3H AX- 12.6K

RAM/Memory- x2 Thermaltake Toughram Z One 3600Mhz CL18 - 5.7k

Cabinet- Yours (or the Ant Esports ICE 300 Mesh for 3.7k)

PSU- Yours (or the NZXT C650 for 5k)

SSD- WD SN570 1TB -7.3k

Without Cabinet and PSU, it comes to 76.8k. Add 8.7k with both included. Cabinet isn't a necessary upgrade but PSU could be. Again, try running your build with your seasonic unit before springing for a new PSU.

Edit: Just realized that the thermaltake memory kit does not have RGB. For RGB, Team Group's Delta RGB 8GB 3600Mhz costs 3.2k.

Is cl16 or cl17 better than cl18

CL16 is faster for same frequency.

RAM freq CAS.png

Lower the cumulative value, the better. Like many reviewers used to use 3200MHz CL14, which is faster than 3200MHz CL16 or 3600MHz CL18 popularly available for cheap. Among the latter 2, 3600MHz one is slightly better especially if you can run it at FCLK of 1800MHz or Gear 1 on mobo for AMD or Intel respectively.

Search more online to deep dive into it.

CPU - Intel i5 12400
Mobo - MSI B660M A Pro WiFi
RAM - Gskill Trident Z 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz C16 (Kindly confirm if this is for AMD)
GPU - Zotac RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12 GB
M.2 SSD - WD SN570 1 TB (is XPG Gammix 1 TB of? But I see read speed difference between two 1500 and 3500 between XPG and WD, is that a big difference?)
PSU - Deepcool PM650D 80+ Gold
Monitor - LG 24GN650 24″ 1080p 144Hz IPS

CPU Cooler (confused between these, though I prefer RGB)?
Deepcool Gammax 400 Pro
Deepcool AK400

Cabinet (confused between these)?
Deepcool Mattrexx 55 Mesh 4F
Ant Esports Ice 300 Mesh
ANT ESPORTS ICE 511MT
Ant Esports 510 AIR
DEEPCOOL MATREXX 55 MESH ARGB 4F

Is it necessary to go with 3600 RAM instead of 3200?

Kindly advise

Memory is universal, so it will work fine with both AMD and Intel systems. I see that the Trident Z is chosen. What is it's price? There are better memory modules out there which are cheaper, but if your heart desires it, then go right ahead with it. There is no visble difference between 3600Mhz and 3200Mhz.

SSD is fine. No need for any changes in it.

I'd suggest going with a different PSU. The PM650D is not the best, and Deepcool has a pretty poor reputation in making PSUs. I'd suggest the NZXT C650 80+ Bronze or the Corsair CX650M for the same price.

The Pro and the AK400 provide similar thermals. However, the AK400 does not have RGB, so the Gammaxx Pro is suggestible.

For the case, each provide good thermals. The 510 Air will get the job done for you.
GPU - Zotac RTX 3060 Twin Edge 12 GB quoted price from local shop at 35850, justifiable?
It costs 1k cheaper online, so it's reasonable.
