Game suggestions similar to Darksiders III or God of War

Hello gamers

Any game suggestions similar to Darksiders III or God of War
Looking for some story and some hack and slash

Should I just start Dark souls? Is it fun?
I tried to play it on my old pc, but there was some lag then i dropped..
Should I try Witcher 3 or Middle-earth: Shadow of War?
Or Any other game suggestions?

Spoiler: List of games I played in last few years, which I remember

Hollow Knight - Silksong - paused for now (game feels too difficult for me at the moment)
Darksiders III - When I first tried 2 or 3 years back felt very slow, now liked it very much that i completed the story
God of War 2018 - Liked it completed the story
Hades - Loved it very much, completed the story
Hollow Knight - Liked it
Devil May Cry 5 - Loved it
Skyrim
Marvel’s Spider Man - Its okay, game felt like batman game who can swing. Didn't like the story / ending felt repetitive
Sunset Overdrive - One of my favorite games

I also like below series
Far Cry series (play 3, primal, 4 and 5)
Tomb raider series
Assassins creed series (played 1st version)

Dark Souls takes some patience before it gets fun. Unlike the games you mentioned, Dark Souls action is slow but hits like a truck. The game is designed to punish those who play hastily. But once you get a hang of it it's one of the best experiences I've had. Finished it 3 or 4 times now. Just follow some guide online if you are new. Dark Souls Remastered is the definitive way to play.

Should I try Witcher 3 or Middle-earth: Shadow of War?

These are also good games. Witcher 3 is a classic must-play. It's like the Baldur's Gate 3 of it's time. Middle Earth has a very unique storytelling method called the Nemesis system, where the Orc bosses you encounter are unique and depending on whether you win or lose against them causes their characters to develop more. So each playthrough will be different.

Besides these, you can try Space Marine 2, it's a combination of hack and slash with ranges weapons. Good action and story. Try Space Marine 1 as well if you can.
