Game cache to sd card?

Is it really possible to move game cache(>1GB) to external sd card successfully and run the game on Android 4.1.2.
I have googled it and got confused..
Please explain how to do the same since my phone has only 5 gb internal storage of which 2 gb is galery cache.

Probably have to root your android device and then use something like link2sd or app2sd.

That is unless you are using a micromax phone or xolo q800 which allows you to install apps on the External SD card without rooting your phone.

See MY FRIEND..I HAVE A rooted galaxy grand quatro.
LINK2SD works only on apps (.apk files and the like files) but my phone has enough place to store game apk(game code)
but not enough for gaem cache(extra data)..

Hope you would have figured this out by now.. but if not Directory Bind, GL2SD and Folder Mount are some of the apps that do exactly what you are looking for.
