So finally after 5 months there are two new processors which came out today with flagship performance .AMD Athlon FX 55 and 4000+ processors.one clocked at 2.6 (FX55 ) and the 4000+ clocked at 2.4 .The 4000+ is a copy of FX 53, no changed , and the only difference between the fx 55 and the fx 53 is the higher clock speed. Both are based on the 0.13 nanometer core and 128 bit memory architecture .

and the comparison with intel processors is quite interesting , it beated the 3.4 ee LGA processors in 13 tests, narrowed the gap in the video encoding tests .The 3.6 ghz EE has a 2-10 % lead over the FX 55 in the encoding and SIS Sandra benchmarking tests. But the Memory bandwidth in SISSANDRA was about 15 % lead over their rival .

There is no doubt about the fact that 2004 has been good for AMD for their new architecture , both in scalability and performance , on the other hand intel has some serious problems in overheating and clock scaability as well as making a stable 1024 fsb processor.
But still Intel confirmed their flagship 3.8 ghz ee processor in Q4 .
Compitetions is going to be tough , what do you think guys ?
