Free Hosting+change CName and MXrecords

what is this editdns.com?
if i change my sites DNS records to editdns.....where will the site be .. hosted..
by the hands of editdns or my current host?

my current (free) host doesnt allow me to change mxrecords.. i thing that i definetly need......is there any way out i can do it..

editdns.com is a DNS service provider.

you could host your site in any web host and still control your domain records through editdns

in order to do so, in your editdns account you need to add an A-record pointing your domain name to the IP address of the server hosting your site (usually a mail to your hosts tech support will tell you the IP, if they havent alredy)


a real world anaology of domain records would be the name plate on the ground floor of you Apt bldg

if theres is a request for accesing your site, it would be directed to your CNAME/A-records, if it is a request for mail, then it would be directed to MX records
