remover power cable from cabnet, open ur cabinet...remove the cmos battary, also short the terminals by a metalic object.reinstall the batt. after one minute.plug in the power cord to the cabinet.on ur system and u wont have to face any password accesing bios setup.
there is no other way.....(yes there is replace ur motherboard with a new one):)

No, I dont thinku can retreive ur password. The best way is to short the jumpers on the motherboard. OR
1. Remove the CMOS battery.
2. Start ur PC.
3. Shut it down.
4. Re-install the battery again.
5. Start ur PC.
6. Ur done.

Yo man, try this.
Keep pressing ESC till the password program crashes.
Not joking.
If you are too lazy/cas about opening the cabinet, go for this.

What do you mean keep pressing ESC .

How can this ever work. How many times do you have to press it .

What is the idea of having a password if it is so easy to reset it .

That is for you to think. BIOS passwords as you have seen already is not secure at all nad can be bypassed using the jumper settings or the CMOS battery removal method. The ESC method, to be honest, I used it on a P2 machine running AWARD BIOS and it had worked. But, I dont think that will work now. Also there are some default BIOS passwords for AMI and others. If you want to learn, you can always find them on the net.

anomit,

I know that they are pretty easy to disable and bypass.
As you said using the jumper settings we can do so . But would'nt someone ask you as to why are you opening the case of the computer.

Thats why I said ESC is a pretty easy method to bypass it and can be done easily without catching much attention.

You see this was my point.

That DEBUG method is an widely circulated one. But nobody has ever told that how to do it if booting from floppy is disabled.
