Which is better

XP or Vista?

I got XP SP2 atm and upgrading the comp for better gaming performance.

So do I need to get Vista or it doesnt makes difference in Game Play?

As I read it XP Comps requires less RAM ans slower processor for same game as to Vista. So XP would be better for gamin or am I wrong here?

Vista does consume more resources than XP, but games like bioshock require Vista to work in DX10 mode, as DX10 is available only for vista.

If you have a high end system, use vista to have awesome DX10 graphics. If not, use XP to improve your frame rates and squeeze the max you can from your hardware.
