Bought Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime for my mom from FLIPKART.COM on 12th December. First problem faced on next day after getting the phone. Problem was Google playstore was crashing every time I am trying to install any apps. But the problem was solved after updating the Google playstore itself.
Next problem was the main reason you should avoid buying phone Redmi 2 Prime.
• Signal Reception problem
• Poor Microphone. Voice sound is very low and not clear because of this.
• Voice call was not clear.
• Battery backup is worst.
You have to charge three times in a day. If you check one and two star reviews at flipkart, most of the certify user are complaining about the Signal reception, poor microphone and poor battery backup problem. From the views of the user it seems that this is manufacturing defect. Now the real problem comes when trying to lodge complain with flipkart.com. Lodged 1st complain on 10th January, 2016 and mailed with detailed explaining about the problem to cs@flipkart.com. On Next day they cancel my first request and mailed me some troubleshooting guide. Tried all the steps but the problem persisted. Booked another request for replacement/refund. Got a sms that technical specialist will call on this date and time. If you miss that particular call, you will be given another date/time. Received the call and explained everything but he refused to give me a replacement or refund instead asked me to install smartchk app (Refund was applicable as that the product was out of stock). They provide a link to download the app. I refused to install one as in the Terms and Conditions of 30 days’ replacement (on their flipkart.com page), no where they have provided about this steps. They cannot impose something overnight. Why they are hiding the actual terms and condition? I cannot understand. I said the technical agent to post this steps in 30days replacement terms and condition and then I will follow. That guy immediately said I cannot help in this regards. Wow what a reply To prove this, I even mailed them my personal call recording. Call recording feature was preinstalled with the phone. But still yet to get any reply from them. I lodged total 4 Return request and every time it was cancelled by the Flipkart customer care. After all this, now the 30 days’ period was over. But my request to all user at digit forum members is that please buy any product from flipkart after lots of thinking as they have hidden terms and condition about the returning the product. I am not going to buy any product from flipkart unless this problem gets solved To Flipkart.com if you are watching this post please refund my money back as I bought this product for my mom. Please refund if you have any emotion left.
