firewire problem urgent help

firewire related problem
PCI IEEE1394 VIA 3+1p card assembled in pci slot. panasonic nvgs60 handycam connected to pc thru firewire cable,in windows movie maker 'CAPTURE'
problem started
moniter screen blank , computer unable to restart hll.dll file missing
full o/s (windows xp) reinstalled
windows movie maker not opening ( sound hardware nao available)
in device manager following hardware not working( ! mark) before
1) 1394 net adapter
2)video controller vga comaptible
3)realtech ac97 audio for VIA(R) audio controller
pl help how can i properly install above hardware and copy handycam minidv video to my pc?

first install video and sound drivers for your PC...
get them from the website of your motherboard manufacturer..

then install driver for your firewire card..
after this windows movie maker should work
