hi guys, The extra DRIVEs (Memory/SD Card reader, Compact Flash reader, USB drive) have vanished, there were a toatal of SIX Drives (icons) in "My Computer" window.
what happened== today my bro. accidentely selected a WRONG DRIVE in "Safely Remove HardWare" -(from taskbar), which has resulted to this situation.
he was going to select the PEN DRIVE (Drive L), but selected something else,
My Hard Disk Drives are all OK, its just these card readers. but when i put in a USB Pen Drive or Sony Memory Stick, its shown in 'My Computer'.
& also a ICON, on desktop, for "Shortcut to a folder" has changed to that of "Media Monkey" icon. i dont know what to do.
These CARD READERS are INBUILT,
MY PC Config.
HP Pavilion a1210in, P4-3.06GHz, XP SP2 Home, 768MB RAM, Intel 915G M/B.
What i've done so far=
done CCleaning, Registry Cleaner (TuneUp Utilites 2006). (i have cleared all the things, but to no avail)
For the Folder icon thing i'm goin to RUN the "Repair icon Cache" from TuneUp Utilities.
Please GUYS HELP me, tell what shall i do to bring back those Drive Icons in "My Computer" window.
