External Sound Card

My old G41 Mobo sounds giving problem.
Need a cheap external Sound Card(may be USB type). I have 2 Channel (2 speakers and a woofer) speaker system.
Please suggest me.

It's said 7.1 so will it good for 2 Channel only ?
I mean is it overkill ?
I mean should I try cheaper option at lesser price ?
At local market will it be cheaper than online ?

I am actually surprised I was able to find an external sound card so cheap. You can't get anything better than this unless you are okay with those very cheap Rs. 300 pen drive looking sound thing. This one is not overkill. Just use 3.5 mm out from it and into your 2.1 speaker's 3.5 mm IN.
