Extend c drive

Subhankar Mondal

I love Digit
I'm facing problem to extend C-drive of my pc.
I was trying it after reading
this month's DIGIT [ july] page no- 87.
My computer---manage---storage---disk management---
Then I shrinked a E drive [ it was 300 gb ]
But
I am not getting 'extend' option when I right click on c drive.
I've done SHRINKING E drive and finally created a new drive [H] by mistake.
I tried to extend my c drive .
Now how can I put H drive [80 gb free space just created by me]
into C drive to increase /extend C drive?
:-x:cool:

You can;t just shrink any partition and add the shrunken space in any partition. The partition to be shrunk and the partition to be expanded bust lie adjacent on the disk. Skrink the partition just next to C drive to extend it.

> What exactly do you mean by "extend option is missing"? Post a screenshot of disk management.

> You can use EasUS Partition Master.

I have always found AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition to be of great help. It has a really easy-to-use UI. You might want to try it.

By default after you shrink partition you have to delete that PART, then you can see UNALLOCATED space. Extend option will get activated.
