My excel is too slow.If i click any excel file it take's too long to open it.However if i open excle from Start>program> excel and then i click on file open and open the same excel file from here it opens up instantly.PLS HELP.
TShooting done till now
1>Repaired office
2>Uninstall and reinstalled office
There is no issue wiith the system coz everything else seems to work pretty fast.

i think u are using Excel 2003, i don't know if it will help or not but disable the add-ins in excel if it has and then try again.

Remove the settings in the AntiVirus to check everytime MS office file is open

e.g. in Norton .. uncheck the MS Office Plugin .. in the Settings>Misc

NOTHING worked,I had disabled the norton file check and the add in's were never installed

PLS HELP this is urgent .I cannot turn NORTON file check off coz i work in a mnc where there are 400 pc's.
I have tried the office sp3 and excle latest package negative.PLS help this is urgent.............
