E-mail Checker

I want a softie which can check my E-mails by a click of mouse.

It should reside in the taskbar n low on resources.

depends on which email client u r usin

for ex Gmail has its gmail notifier
which is automatic

so wats urs ?

if you use Outlook Express and pre-configure it to connect automatically, u need not click anywhere, it will download all the mail automatically ones you start the program.

And that's not all, if you want an icon in the taskbar notification area for notifing you or new mail, then lots of third party plug-ins are available google to get it.

Hmm.. You can use Spamihilator with Pop3 Notifier Plugin .. (You can download and install the plugin after you install Spamihilator) .. Pop3 Notifier willl check your email account periodically as you configure it .. This will be more useful to you ...

And btw .. You wanted a softie .. I hope you didnt meant this ...
