DVB-T in Chennai

Hi all,
Has anyone ever viewed the Chennai Doordashan DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcast Terrestrial) ?
Analog broadcasts were to be shut down and DVB started in a lot of cities.
I tried searching for these signals using SDR adapters, but did'nt find any.

Is there a DVB-T in India?

I have gone thru' it all long back.

But is DVB-T really operational in India? If so, where?

Can't say but since it is "govt project" ground reality may be a lot different from what is advertised.Have you checked that all your devices are on the list mentioned in above pdf & also have you tried it using a mobile at some different locations(preferably close to city centre)?

Well, I used a SDR dongle with RTL2832 chip and detected no carrier in the DVB band, at least in Chennai.

Can you confirm about it by asking at local DD centre in Chennai?
