I am planning to buy shortly either a Dell Vostro A840 or Dell Vostro A860.
The A840 comes with a Intel Dual Core T2390 1.86 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache and 533 MHz FSB while the A860 comes with a Intel Celeron 560 2.13 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache and 533 MHz FSB.
Rest of the configuration is the same with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM, 120 GB of HDD, etc the only other major difference being A840 comes with a 14.1" display whereas A860 has a 15.6" display.
Is the Dual Core better than the Celeron? I find the cache and FSB equivalent and clock speed of Celeron is higher than the Dual Core. Which one should I go for?
