Yes I agree. The chainsaw fuel is not always available. I enabled the mod that enables ammo drops when explodable Cylinders are shot.

Yeah but that produces small crumbs of ammo. Perhaps might be more valuable if combined with that respawning barrels perk.

Damn this game is tougher and deeper than its predecessor and longer in game play time. Plus there are two DLC(s)
Graphics is Excellent and the sound and level details.
