It is not laptop just laptop but your bluetooth audio equipment also that supports various audio codecs.

Yes I corrected my earlier post but it seems that windows laptops probably don't support AAC, only aptx & SBC. Also your audio device has higher chances of having aptx or sbc compared to aac. Still wait for others to comment.

Windows doesn't support AAC codec and Android also. AAC is supported by Apple as it uses AAC audio format widely.

I get this option when pairing JBL glide headphone with my Android phone. I can't hear much difference in quality, but thought would try in laptop as well.

dnf install pulseaudio-module-bluetooth-freeworld --allowerasing This gives Bluetooth AAC profiles in Fedora.

But again no discernible difference in quality.
