Does Nvdia Graphics cards work in AMD Processor with Asus Chipset ??

Hi all i have below configuration

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Processor , Asus M4A785TD-V EVO motherboard ,320gb Seagate, Monitor lg 23'' Full HD ,6 Gb DDR 3 Kingsten Ram

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO (AMD Socket AM3) motherboard has Internal graphics as ATI Radeon integrated graphics card HD4200 GPU (AMD 785G )

I don't have any external Graphic cards in My PC till now ...i m thinking to Buy one and Budget is 2-3 k

But My issue is That is NVIDIA Graphics cards work On my AMD Processor / ASUS Motherboard ???


on flipkart : ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card is most rated @ 2825 rs

Does this Grafic card work on My AMD Processor / ASus Motherbord (AM3 Chipset support )


Is it something like AMD Processor Only accept ATI Grapfics card only and Intel as Nvdia ???

there is nothing like AMD Processor Only accept ATI Graphics card only and Intel as Nvdia ,any processor (AMD,Intel ) can support graphic card from ( ATI,Nvdia) on any mobo having PCIe 2.0
I don't think there will be performance increase with ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3

forget what flipkart or its users rate the most. 610 is a crap GPU. can run games at the lowest setting only.

You wont be able to play with the gpu as well so either keep the mobo card or invest in a real on like hd 5670 1gb gddr5 (4.5k)

And you seem to have a nice pc, please invest atleast this much or all you are gonna see is black borders on your good monitor.

Everything will work absolutely perfectly. Been using a 9500Gt on my PC tools with a AMD Phenom II X4 840 for over 2 years now.
