Dlink DAP 1330 wifi extender not connecting to Trendchip HG520

Hi,

I bought a Dlink wifi range extender but I have been unable to get it working with my old MTNL wifi router, Trendchip HG520. Is this a known issue as I'm able to get it working with my phone wifi hotspot?

Is there any way to get it working with it?

Got it working. So it turned out that DAP 1330 is backward compatible only at g. The HG520 was transmitting in b/ g. So it had to make it transmit only in g post which it started working.

They should include this in their setup instructions or at least troubleshooting - make sure the router at least transmits in wifi g.
