is there any difference in vedio capture card and firewire if i need one only
which is right and better

i think you are mistaking a tv tuner card with a dv card used for recording tapes off a handycam.. as they usually need a firewire port
correct me if am wrong

Any card that captures video can be termed as video capture card. A TV tuner card can also capture video. But we usually use the term "Capture card" for dedicated card specifically designed to capture. A fire wire card is also a capture care which uses an IEEE1394 Firewire PCI card for a high data rate (around 400 Mbps). While new USB 2.0 technology also raises USB speed to 480 Mbps, the recently finished specification for IEEE 1394b has a maximum speed of 800 Mbps. Refer my this thread for some more insite.

VIDEO CAPTURE CARD IS USED TO CAPTURE VIDEOS AND ALSO NOW A DAYS IN MEDIA CENTERS,,
BUT FIREWIRE IS DIFFERENT
