Difference b/w these mobos

Can u tell me the differnece b/w H81 and B85 motherboards...i know B85 is better but is it worth the extra 3k....with reference to Gigabyte GA-H81M-S1 and Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H ....

Advantages of B85 chipset :

> Have 2 Pci Exp slots,support for Xfire
> Support's HDMI And DVI-D
> Have 4 x Sata 3 6GB/s ports
> Support upto 4 USB 3 ports
> Support for 32gb Ram

Though there is no performance difference between them

H81 and B85 are just chipsets, NOT motherboards. Post your config.

incidently ur a bit wrong there.Actually there is.H81 motherboards dosent support intel clear video tech, which in layman terms, hardware video acceleration using ur proccy's inbuilt gpu.
so if ur buying a 4th gen i3 or i5 whose igpu supports intel clear video tech, u cant use it via that mobo.and u know how much hardware acceleration for watching matters for most people out there
