Dial up internet on laptop thru cellone

My hardware are the following -
1. hp laptop 6710b with windows vista business.
2. Samsung mobile egh-840.
3. Mobile network - Cellone at Kolkata.
I've installed the modem driver of the mobile in my laptop. Hopefully, the account free internet connection is also available in the cellone as when I dial the a/c free no. 033172222 directly on the mobile then the modem sound is heard on the mobile. However, when I dial this no. from the laptop the call gets immediately disconnected.
My queries are -
1. Can I connect to the a/s free internet connection this way and if notthen what is the right way.
2. Why the connection is immediately getting disconnected?

i dont really know about kolkattabut ithink dialing landline numers from a cellphone for internet access will be very expensive. If it was a landline then there are options like 2nd bfone where they charge only fix monthly rentals. Anyway i think it will be best for you to get a GPRS connection for your celone connection or get datacards.
