Desktop problem

I have desktop with 845 motherboard,intel p4 processor,512 mb ram,80 gb hd.when i start the machine then the hd led is on constantly,but no display in monitor(i checked the monitor and it works fine).what is the problem in my machine ?and the sollution.pls reply......

^^check all the fans inside cabinets working or not???
mobo LED is glowing or not....

if u have 2 Rams then boot only frm 1 RAM & vice versa...

And especially RAM as I think this is RAM problem. May be it is not fixed in a proper way.
