Desktop configuration

Hi,
I would be assembling my computer at the end of this month.
My budget is 30-35K.
I would go for a Core 2 Duo processor ,2GB of DDR2 RAM,17 " LCD and would prefer ASUS motherboards.
I wont go for a grahics card.
I would like the system to be Vista ready.
Please suggest me a configuration.
Please mention the make(manufacturer) and model number of the components(e.g. which Core 2 Duo - E6400,E6420,etc would best fit in).
Also suggest the same for RAM as well.
Be as detailed as you can.

I am from Mumbai and would buy the components from Lamington Rd.

17' LCD is way outdated, get atleast 19'
2GB RAM
