dell xps help with config

Hi friends i am getting a dell xps 15 in 10 days. I wanted help with configuration.
I would be a little bit into gaming and more of movies and browsing. So around 5 hours gaming a week and 40 hours movies, download and browsing. I have configured the below on the dell website. Please share your expertise if this is sufficient. Question are:
1) do i need 6 gb ram or can i downgrade to 4gb
2) is the 2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M sufficient for gaming.
3) is i7-2630QM ok for gaming

Hi Ishu thanks for the reply, is it wise to downgrade the processor to i5-2410M? will it suffice for gaming? its just that i would like to save as much as i can..

Yeah.

If you want to save, why don't you get the DV6 6121TX @ 52k (2630qm, HD6770M, 4GB) or DV4 3016TX @ 42k (2410M, HD6750M, 4GB, 14")

Both will perform much better in gaming than the Dell. Dell has the better screen (if you go for 1080p) so movies will be better.

hi ishu hp was always my first choice however the news that hp is selling off their pc division i am worried about after sales and extended warranty from their support, hence i choose dell...

They are spinning off. ie splitting. Support and warranty will remain the same. Services will probably get better.

Else they will get the **** sued out of them.
