Yes, I have personally tested the Inspiron 15 3537.
Gaming performance is not bad and more or less at par with Y510p core i5 version.
Battery life is simply superb.
It has a 768p screen and the viewing angles are pretty poor.
It is recommended for college because of its good battery life and good gaming performance on battery. Y510p loses almost 80% of its gaming prowess when on battery. Meanwhile Inspiron 15 loses only ~30%. This is because of the ULV processor.

i5 version discontinued, i7 is out of stock, in most places.
replacement version came in the form of y50 i7 version. costs 75k.
i5 version of y50 isn't available in India.
